SUMMARY:Being In the Dark & Unspeakable Acts
DESCRIPTION:Double bill – a horror documentary and a reimagined screenpla
y.\n\nBeing In the Dark\n\nDo we fear the darkness or do we fear what the
darkness conceals? Light is revealing but to light a candle is to cast a s
hadow. We stand on the edge of the void and ask you to walk with us…\nBe
ing In the Dark is an improvised documentary but about our world. We will
take something of the mundane and use it as a window to somewhere far more
dark and absurd. People desperately trying to escape an endless shopping
centre. A cook book that compels you to cook non euclidean eggs. A Ghoulis
h cult that worships Radio 4. Normality is but a façade\, we shall show y
ou what lurks behind it…\n\nUnspeakable Acts\n\nA cinematic folly! A rea
l movie script reinvented as an absurd\, unfaithful comedy spectacle. The
improv show that starts with a real Hollywood screenplay before diverging
wildly into a whole new story. The audience selects the movie you most wan
t to see mutilated and abandoned\, and the team – who may never have eve
n heard of it – will spin the tale. Absurd\, unfaithful\, funny and endl
essly inventive\, these are the stories we’ll never see on screen.\n\nPa
