Live Vinyl n’ Video Social – KittyArama AV Show

Join us at Malt Cross for a super special treat with a live video and vinyl performance from Nottingham DJ Stiff Kittens, the KittyArama AV Show.

Expect real-time triggered and edited visuals, including stop-motion animation featuring a pick ’n’ mix of vinyl figures, retro toys, robots and all kinds of strange and wonderful found objects. Sprinkled with self-created Nottingham footage, vintage social film clips, B-movie moments and classic film samples.

These projections are beat-sequenced to a live vinyl DJ set, mixing funk, soul, disco, film soundtracks, spy music and more, all played on beautiful shiny vinyl records.

Expect the unexpected. A playful, immersive night of music, visuals and pure creative energy at Malt Cross.

We love throwing open our doors and welcoming you to our Victorian Music Hall. Bringing people together, under our iconic glass roof, is our speciality.

As a registered charity we actively fundraise to support vital programmes and services for vulnerable children and young people in the local community. This event is free but a donation can be made which will go directly to supporting communities across Nottingham and the wider county. Thank you for your continued generosity which allows us to support more people to belong, contribute and thrive.
