Join DJ Joff (Truth and Lies/Houghton) for a Friday special at Malt Cross.
Joff has been DJing and collecting music for over 30 years and will be joining the musical dots between different continents, times and places. This includes a special selection of rare jazz funk from the streets of New Orleans, Brazilian classics, West African afrobeat and highlife from the 70s rumbles from Cuba and Columbia.
Joff is a well known DJ in Nottingham and as part of Truth and Lies is resident DJ and curator at Houghton festival, Africa Oye, Liverpool, BBE London, Beam Nottingham. Expect a great atmosphere and lots of vinyl gems.
Joff was also a resident DJ at Malt Cross with Ian Oxlade for 5 years over 15 years ago, this is the first gig in the venue since that period so it represents somewhat of a homecoming.
