Our New Chef at Malt Cross

Please give a warm welcome to Rose, our new chef joining the team at Malt Cross.

A Passion for Food

Rose’s journey to becoming a chef is as unique as her cooking style. After realising that growing up to be an octopus wasn’t realistic, Rose knew she wanted to be a chef. From the age of four, she always baked with her parents who bought her cooking books, most of which she still has complete with inscriptions and dates in the front.

Rose has been cheffing for nearly 20 years now, and has honed her skills across a diverse range of cuisines, from fine dining establishments, to tapas, sushi and hearty pub grub. She’s now here at Malt Cross, a place her and her friends have shared memories – and even enjoyed her first pint!

Inclusive and Seasonal Menu

Bringing with her experience and influences from each job, Rose is committed to creating a menu that everyone can find something delicious to enjoy, regardless of dietary requirements. Rose embraces seasonal cooking, so while she doesn’t have a signature dish, her love for cooking fish guarantees, they’ll be a catch of the day. And for those who think salads are boring, prepare for a new salad special each week.
